Everything you own is below you
A vertical roguelike you play with one thumb. Your drone mines, shoots and loots on its own. You decide where to go, when to burn the ability and which relics to take. Your score is how deep you got.
iPhone and iPad · iOS 18 or later · English and Spanish
Thirty seconds of a run
No commentary, no editing tricks. This is the game running on a phone.
Steer, don't grind
The drone handles the shooting. The only question that matters is how fast you are willing to fall.
One thumb, portrait
Drag to steer, tap for your ability. That is the whole control scheme, so you can play it standing on a bus.
Momentum
Keep falling at pace and your damage climbs to ×3. Stall behind a rock to catch your breath and you lose it.
A build every run
Forty relics that stack in ways that get out of hand. Every run is a different drone.
Daily run
One seed a day, the same for everyone, one scoring attempt. Keep the streak alive.
Leaderboards
Game Center leaderboards for all-time depth and for today's run, plus twenty achievements.
Nothing is gated
No depth limit to buy, no energy, no timers. Cores you mine buy variety, never stats.
Downcore Supporter
One purchase, once, forever. No subscription, and nothing in it makes your drone stronger.
No ads, ever
You still get the core bonus on the results screen, just without watching anything.
Replay the daily
Run today's seed as many times as you like. Only your first attempt is the one that scores.
Two exclusive skins
Nova and Obsidian, for the drone. Cosmetic only.
€4.99, one-time purchase
No account. No sign-up.
Downcore has no login and no profile. Your progress is a file on your phone. Ads are optional, capped at three a day, and never interrupt a run.
Frequently asked questions
Is Downcore free?
Yes. The whole game is free: every biome, every relic, every boss and the daily run. There is one optional purchase, Downcore Supporter, at €4.99 once and never a subscription. It removes ads, lets you replay the daily seed and adds two drone skins. Nothing in it makes your drone stronger.
Does Downcore have ads?
There is exactly one, and you choose to watch it. On the results screen you can watch a rewarded ad to double the cores you mined that run, up to three times a day. There are no interstitials, no banners and no ads inside a run. Supporter gets the same bonus without watching anything.
Can I play Downcore offline?
Yes, the entire game works with no connection: there is no server and nothing to sync. Only the Game Center leaderboards and the optional rewarded ad need to be online, and both are optional.
Do I need an account to play?
No. There is no login, no email and no profile. Your progress is a file on your phone. Game Center is optional and only used for leaderboards and achievements. The privacy policy spells out what that means.
How do you play Downcore?
Drag your thumb to steer the drone and tap to fire your ability. That is the entire control scheme, in portrait, with one hand. The drone mines, shoots and picks up loot on its own; you decide where to go, when to burn the ability and which relics to take.
Is Downcore like Vampire Survivors?
It shares the part where your character fights on its own while you handle movement, so if you liked that, you already know the feel. The differences are the direction and the clock: Downcore falls straight down through a destructible mine, your damage climbs as long as you keep descending at pace, and your score is how deep you got rather than how long you lasted.
What is the daily run?
One seed per day, the same mine for everyone, with a single scoring attempt and a streak you can keep alive. It has its own Game Center leaderboard that resets every day at midnight UTC. Supporter can replay the seed as often as they like, but only the first attempt scores.
Is there a paywall, an energy bar or timers?
None of the three. There is no depth you have to buy to keep descending, no energy that runs out and no waiting between runs. The cores you mine buy variety, more relics and events in the pool, never stats.
Does Downcore work on iPad?
Yes. Downcore runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later. On iPad the mine keeps the same proportions as on the phone, so you see exactly as much of what is coming.
What languages does Downcore support?
English and Spanish, both fully translated including the in-game help. The game follows the language you set for it in iOS Settings.
